If you are not satisfied with the results of the Administrative Review, you may request an Administrative Hearing either in person or by written declaration. You must request an Administrative Hearing within 21 days of the date of the Administrative Review decision. After 21 days you are no longer entitled to an Administrative Hearing.
State Law Requires that you pay all fines owed on the citation before you can request an Administrative Hearing. If the Hearing Officer finds in your favor, you will be issued a refund.

What Happens At An Administrative Hearing?
The Hearing Officer will be provided with a case folder which contains all information relevant to your citation, including:

A copy of the citation
Any correspondence received by the City of Beverly Hills concerning the citation
The results of any investigations conducted during the Administrative Review process
A complete computer record of all calls received and notices sent

Hearing Officers will review this information, and will also listen to your explanation of why the citation should be dismissed OR read your Written Declaration. You will be notified by mail of the Hearing Officer's determination.

If the Hearing Officer determines you are not liable for the citation, you will be issued a refund.

Requesting an Administrative Hearing
An administrative hearing will only be scheduled after an Administrative Review has been completed.

Online Request
You may request an administrative hearing either in person or by written declaration by filling out a simple online form.

Request by Mail
After you have received the result of the City’s Administrative Review by mail, you may request that your citation be reviewed by an independent hearing examiner by returning the hearing request on the reverse side of the letter. The citation will be reviewed by the hearing examiner either in person at a scheduled time, date and location, or by written declaration. By selecting a Written Declaration you will not be present for the hearing. If you select Written Declaration, please complete the form on the reverse side of the Administrative Review Results letter you received and return it immediately to:

You will be sent written notification of your Hearing time, date, and location. There are two locations and you may select any location for your hearing.

City of Beverly Hills: Tuesday Morning
City of West Hollywood: Tuesday Afternoon

IMPORTANT

Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete the required paperwork.
You may bring any witnesses, records, or documents with you that are applicable to your case.
Any interpreters needed, including sign language, must be provided by the contestant.
Any additional documents, relating to the appeal of your citation must be submitted at the time of your hearing. No extensions will be granted to submit further documentation. Documentation will not be returned.
Results of the hearing will be mailed to you.

If you are unable to appear on your scheduled date, you may request a continuance by contacting Parking Services in writing at the address above or, by phone at (800) 752-1195 no later than 2 business days prior to the scheduled date and time listed on your scheduled hearing appointment letter. Only one continuance will be considered.
