Application Instructions  

Before you start your request, please carefully read the guidelines and policies associated with the type of permit(s) you wish to request. Parking Permit Guidelines and Required Documents link.

  • Please pay special attention to the required documents listed and have them ready to upload when prompted.
  • Documents should be submitted as a PDF or JPG file. Total maximum upload limit is 3MB.
  • Any missing documents may result in a delay or denial of your application.
  • You will not be able to request permits if you have any unpaid parking citations in the City of Los Angeles.

Upon receipt of your application and documents, a parking permit staff member will review your application. Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing. If you need your parking permits sooner, please submit your application and documents in-person at any one of our Public Service Centers.

Please remember there is maximum of 2 visitor permits per landlord account.

If you are exchanging a permit for another vehicle, you MUST do this in person at a Public Service Center or by mail because you must return the annual permit you are changing the vehicle for.
