Welcome to the City of Santa Monica Senior Beach Permit Application!

Before you start, here are some important rules to know

  • Permit requirements at the time of application AND renewal:
    1. Valid California driver's license or ID card - must be 62 or older
    2. Valid California vehicle registration reflecting the eligible applicant's name
    3. Senior Beach parking permits are not meant for oversize (8ft tall by 8ft wide) vehicle use. Any use of these permits on oversize vehicles may result in a parking citation.
  • Maximum of one (1) Senior beach parking permit allowed per eligible applicant
  • Other Regulations
    1. Permit is only valid for the license plate number listed on application and is not transferrable to any other car or person
    2. NO REFUNDS for lost, confiscated, unwanted, unused, or partial-period-used permits
