If you have received a parking citation and you believe that the citation was issued in error, you must submit an appeal in writing within 21 days of the date of issuance. Appeals can be submitted by mail, in person, or online.

A review of your appeal will be conducted by an Administrator in the Parking Enforcement Division. The Administrator will make his/her decision based on the information provided in your appeal.
In the event that your appeal is denied, you have the right to appeal that decision to State of Delaware Justice of the Peace Court #20. Please visit our website at www.WilmingtonDE.gov to download and print a Court Request Form. This form must be completed entirely and returned within fifteen (15) days. When your hearing date has been scheduled you will receive written notification from JP Court 20. Please note that only the registered owner of the vehicle may appeal the decision to the courts.
